I’m happiest in the midst of creation.
To be behind the camera capturing a moment in time from a unique perspective! There are few things more magical than when a video seems to make itself because the right pieces are in motion. Please take a moment to view the examples below of video content I’ve created. Videos were captured using an assortment of GoPro and a DJI Mavic Pro drone. Adobe Premiere Pro was used as editing software. 3D animations were made in Blender and 2D animations were made in Adobe After Effects.
I. The 2011 BMW 550i
A commercial capturing some of my travels across the United States in my beloved BMW 550i.
II. “Valentines Day: Iceland”: An EDM Music Video
“A mix of 12 strangers and friends go on a weeklong Valentines Day trip in Iceland.”” I wrote an EDM track on the flights to and from Reykjavik and used the footage from our trip to make this music video.
III. Ideas Need Action
A conversation with my little brother inspired me to make this mini music video using footage from my recent travels. The audio was recorded by a friend in Atlanta the same day the video was made, the same day as the conversation, because “Ideas Need Action”.
IV. Ashes, Pencil Shavings
I moved to San Diego, CA and taught myself how to produce music, videos, and 2D animations. To read more, please see the post: Ashes, Pencil Shavings
V. 1 Minute Portfolio Video
My first portfolio video. Showcasing projects I worked on up to mid 2019.
V. 2019 Campaign Videos
My dad had been running for Sebastian City Council for nine years. In 2019, we put my new video skills to use to run targeted advertisements on social media and he was successfully voted into office. These are four of the dozen videos I produced.
VI. HugeBeerPong.com: a Virtual Reality Game
This video was made to advertise and show the gameplay for my VR game Huge Beer Pong Challenges VR.
“Huge Beer Pong Challenges VR is a single player compilation of challenges and secret desires; a playground of inspiration; and an escape to a place of ball bouncing, cup draining, heart sinking awesomeness.” Read more here: Huge Beer Pong Challenges
VII. The Fountain Fotoshoot
A beautiful day in Downtown LA with the beautiful, the graceful Liz LeGrande. This was filmed using a GoPro Fusion 360 camera.
VIII. A rendition of M.C. Escher’s Cubic Space Division
M.C. Escher is one of my favorite artists. His ability to create patterns and illusions with mathematics captivate me. While reading his book, “Escher on Escher”, I came across Cubic Space Division and felt that Escher would have wanted me to take his work a step further. This is an animation done in Blender.
